About the Feldman Automotive Children’s Miracle Celebrity Invitational

Formerly known as the Beaumont Children’s Miracle Classic, this event has taken place for over 30 years with the mission of raising money for kids in need via the Children’s Miracle Network. This fun-filled event is right around the corner:

WHO: Mark Wahlberg, Jay Feldman, and various other local and national celebrities

WHAT: A fun day of golf, silent and live auctions, mingling among celebrities, and charity

WHEN: Monday, August 29^th, 2022, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

WHERE: Detroit Golf Club

Where Does Mark Wahlberg Buick GMC Come in?

You might be wondering how our team got involved in this annual Michigan event. Mark Wahlberg considers Michigan is home away from home with ties to many businesses and organizations in the Detroit area.

One such organization is the Children’s Miracle Network of Beaumont Health. After connecting with fellow Columbus, Ohio, businessman Jay Feldman, chairman and CEO of Feldman Automotive, Inc., several years ago, Mark Wahlberg has made himself a major contributor to the CMN cause.

Mark Wahlberg is no stranger to philanthropy. Two decades ago, he founded the Mark Wahlberg Youth Foundation to create opportunities for kids nationwide. This organization just made a donation to the CMN of Beaumont Health: 1,100 tablet computers to help patients stay in touch with loved ones during the COVID-19 pandemic.

More About the Children’s Miracle Network of Beaumont Health

Golf The Children’s Miracle Network is a multi-faceted organization serving millions of children and their families all over the United States and Canada. This organization was founded in 1983 with the purpose of providing supplementary funding to children in need of care whose insurance did not fully cover it.

Over the last 35+ years, the Children’s Miracle Network has created relationships with 170 children’s hospitals across the continent, including Beaumont Children’s Hospital. Their efforts have provided more than $7 billion to upwards of 10 million children a year.

Donations like the ones made through fundraising events like the Feldman Automotive Children’s Miracle Celebrity Invitational are what make care like this possible.
