GMC Acadia: Capable Performance

Though both engines have different power outputs, there are some similarities between the two. For example, both utilize the same 9-speed automatic transmission so you can expect a smooth, seamless drive every time.

Both engines also allow for some notable fuel economy. No matter which engine you choose, you’ll receive at least an EPA-estimated 27 highway MPG. That means you can take this model on the road without having to constantly fill up on fuel.

Plus, these engines support the model's standard Traction Select System. This system allows drivers to switch to different driving modes and distribute engine power evenly to either your front or all of your wheels.

Your engine choice will ultimately come down to what you’ll be using your Acadia for. However, thanks to these similarities, you can trust that either option is guaranteed to have high-end performance. 

Climbing Inside the GMC Acadia

The Acadia has the capability of seating six to seven people at a time. Within its 143.80 cubic feet of space, you can count on at least 29.70 inches of legroom no matter where you are seated.

This combined with at least 37.20 inches of headroom, and your passengers will appreciate their designated space during longer road trips and commutes.

If you’re riding solo and need to access as much cargo space as possible, simply fold down both rows of seating to receive 79 cubic feet of cargo volume. There, you can store your extra luggage, groceries, beach chairs, work equipment, and more.

Add a little luxury to your ride with available features like heated rear outboard seats, 8-way power front passenger seat, and a collapsible cargo area organizer.

GMC Acadia Review: Talking Trims

There are four trims to choose from: the SLE, SLT, AT4, and Denali.

The GMC Acadia SLE and SLT are the only trims that come standard with the 2.0L Turbo base engine. They have 18-inch blackwall tires and feature LED headlamps. These trims also come with an 8-inch Diagonal GMC Infotainment System with available Navigation.

The GMC Acadia AT4 enhances its performance with the 3.6L V6 engine, while also adding the Active Torque Control AWD System.

The GMC Acadia Denali uses 20-inch Machined Aluminum Wheels with black accents to push forward. There are strong similarities between its previous trim; however, the Denali adds hints of extra driving features like Head-Up Display.
