1. Pick Some Pumpkins at Circle S Farms

Taking place throughout the entire month of October, the Fall Fun Days event at Circle S Farms has become a tradition among residents of Columbus and other nearby towns. Located just 20 miles southwest of the city center, Circle S Farms can be reached in a little over 20 minutes by car via routes I-71 and OH-665, making it a great destination to spend a day away from the city.

Welcoming visitors of all ages in a beautiful setting, Circle S Farms offers family-friendly activities throughout the season. Start your visit with freshly brewed coffee and some home-baked cookies and donuts, take a wagon ride, visit the petting zoo, and harvest some great pumpkins to carve a Jack-o-lantern or bake a delicious pie.

2. Navigate a Corn Maze at The Maize

Located about 35 miles northwest of downtown Columbus, The Maize at Little Darby Creek is one of the best-known destinations among locals wanting to enjoy some family fun during the fall season. Welcoming visitors every autumn for more than two decades, this 160-acre family farm boasts one of the most popular corn mazes in the entire state of Ohio.

Driving from Columbus to The Maize takes about 35 minutes via route I-70. Besides the eight-acre corn maze, this place offers other fun activities including hayrides through the pumpkin patch, corn cannons, a barnyard bouncer, a pumpkin blaster, and an animal petting farm. This place is open to the public between late September and the last day of October, charging an entrance fee of $11 when booked in advance.

3. Try Some Delicious Apple Cider at The Orchard and Company

Another family-owned farm that welcomes visitors throughout the entire fall season, The Orchard and Company is a fantastic place to explore with your family and try some delicious seasonal treats. Known for its homemade apple cider, this place is located just 20 miles northwest of the Columbus city center and can be reached in about 20 minutes by car via route I-70.
